From Concarneau<\/a> you can reach the capital of Cornouaille, Quimper<\/strong>; a city of art and history thanks to the quality of its architectural heritage<\/strong>. St. Corentin’s cathedral, 16th and 17th century houses alongside the ramparts and quays of the Odet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there, you’ll reach Locronan<\/strong>, a town of character and a true source of inspiration for artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further south, but not far from your campsite<\/a>, you’ll visit Pont Aven<\/strong>, the city of painters so dear to Gauguin, then head for Riec sur Belon<\/strong> to sample the famous Belon oysters. Then, just a stone’s throw from Le Cabellou, the Morbihan <\/strong>: from Lorient to Vannes<\/strong>, the wonders of southern Brittany<\/strong> unfold: Carnac <\/strong>and its famous alignments, La Trinit\u00e9 sur Mer<\/strong>, Quiberon<\/strong>… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La ville bleue: Brittany’s jewels<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As well as enjoying a visit to Concarneau<\/strong>, a city of art and history, you can admire listed monuments such as the walled town and its ramparts, the Ch\u00e2teau de Keriolet and the Fort du Cabellou… You can also plan a trip to the Gl\u00e9nan Islands<\/a>, ” the Breton Caribbean<\/strong> “. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “ville-close”<\/strong> is one of the most visited sites in Brittany<\/a>. In summer, it’s best to visit in the morning. On an islet 350 m long and 100 m wide, it features a friendly belfry and a sundial. Two small bridges open the gates to the city walls. The main thoroughfare, Rue Vauban, is lined with charming houses with signs in keeping with the city. On the sides, cobbled lanes lead to openings overlooking the fishing port.
