Camping - pointe du Raz – Audierne : 70 Km – southern Finistère
pointe du Raz
The panorama is absolutely breathtaking, offering a view over the open sea, Ile de Sein opposite and the Crozon peninsula on the right.
Finistère (Penn Ar Bed in Breton) means End of the Earth. The end of the world… France’s Land’s End. This rocky headland on the western tip of Cap Sizun is a nature reserve.
Pointe du Van
Wilder and lesser known on the other side of the bay of Trépassés is Pointe du Van, located slightly further north of Pointe du Raz. This sister headland also offers a breathtaking view over the open sea, Ile de Sein and Cap de la Chèvre.
Renowned for its fishing port which specialises in langouste, lobster and spider crab, Audierne also boasts a stunning beach overlooking the bay of Audierne with the Pointe du Raz to the north and Pointe de Penmarc’h to the south.
