Camping - La Forêt-Fouesnant – Port-La Forêt - 10 Km – southern Brittany
La Forêt Fouesnant is the next town along from Concarneau and is renowned for its large marina. It is located less than 10 km from the Cabellou Plage campsite.
Marina
Located at the end of the bay of Concarneau, Port-La-Forêt is one of the largest ports in Brittany. It is a training ground for world-famous navigators such as François Gabart, Samantha Davies, Michel Desjoyeaux, Armel Le Cléac’h, Jean Le Cam… You may catch a glimpse of an Imoca, a 60 foot yacht which sails around the world.
Beaches and GR34 coastal path
The GR34 coastal path also runs along the coast of La Forêt-Fouesnant. It is a lovely walk which takes you past Saint-Laurent cove, Kerléven beach, the marina as well as Cornouaille golf course which overlooks Penfoulic cove.

The Cornouaille golf course, on the edge of the bay of La Forêt-Fouesnant, is an 18-hole course designed by Fred and Martin Hawtree. Its outstanding location and friendly club house makes this a favourite with golfers in western France.
