Camping - Bénodet : 25 Km – southern Finistère
Bénodet : mouth of the Odet in Breton. Bénodet is bound to the west by the Odet river and to the east by the Mer Blanche (white sea).
The mouth of the Odet River is situated between Bénodet and Sainte-Marine. It is an incredibly pretty river which springs from the Montagnes Noires crossing quietly through Quimper. Bénodet boasts a marina with a stunning view over its neighbouring harbour, Sainte-Marine. You can take a trip up the Odet with the boat company « Les Vedettes de L’Odet » and discover some impressive châteaux in picture-postcard settings.
Le Letty – La Mer Blanche
La mer blanche (white sea), a tidal lagoon protected by a sand bar, bordered by a residential area « Le Letty » to the west and by Mousterlin to the east. Several small rivers flow into the Mer Blanche which is linked to the ocean by the Anse du Groasguen.
A casino, a thalasso spa centre and an array of shops and restaurants line the seafront promenade.
