Le Cabellou Plage campsite is a real haven of peace, located on the Cabellou Peninsula opposite Concarneau, a coastal town and ancient stronghold in South Brittany (Finistère, Département no 29).

You will enjoy direct access to the Belle Etoile beach of fine sand, or the other inlets all round this area, typical of this part of Brittany.
The Le Cabellou Plage campsite has a lovely heated swimming pool, and a friendly snack bar with a terrace.
There are 3 types of rented accommodation in mobile homes for 2/3, 4 or 6 persons, in peaceful surroundings without cars, amid the luxuriant plant life. Camping or caravanning, lovers of the open air will appreciate the comfort of completely-refurbished toilet blocks, and can choose between 2 types of pitch

A brand, spanking new campsite:

The campsite opened in 1973, with 200 pitches over 5 hectares. In 2007, there was a change of ownership and a first phase of modernisation took place in 2008, consisting of the rebuilding of the toilet blocks and the creation of an aquatic area, snack bar and takeaway. The area of each camping pitch was increased (100m2 minimum), and an area of 32 mobile homes to rent was established in a pedestrian zone
Following these works, the Le Cabellou campsite has been labelised quality camping and quality tourism.

           To serve you better, Le Cabellou Plage campsite joins the Flower CAMPINGS chain,

           with the aim of improving the quality of the facilities on the Le Cabellou Plage campsite.

  The new standards

         The classification standards were changed in July 2010. Campsites must be reclassified by July 2012 / 2013. Criteria on integration into the landscape , quality, welcome and cleanliness are reinforced.

           Since the start of the restructuring, Le Cabellou Plage has anticipated these criteria and has moved beyond the 2-star criteria. For these reasons, your campsite will apply for a higher classification – 3 or 4 stars – for the 2012 season
